Village Collector is a Website as a Service (WaaS) platform that allows users to create and manage a private website for tracking and organizing Christmas village collections.
We provide hosting, software access, and ongoing platform improvements as part of a subscription service. Some outbound links may be affiliate links. Details about affiliate relationships are described in our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Village Collector.
By using the service, you represent that you have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.
3. Account Registration
To use Village Collector, you must create an account.
You agree to:

• Keep your login credentials secure
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Free Trial
Village Collector offers a 30-day free trial with a limit of 50 inventory items.
The free trial:
• Provides full access to most features
• Does not require payment information
• Automatically ends after 30 days unless upgraded
Village Collector reserves the right to modify or discontinue the free trial at any time.
5. Subscription & Payments
Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan selected.
By subscribing, you agree to:
• Pay all applicable fees
• Allow automatic renewal unless canceled
• Accept pricing changes with advance notice
All payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time.
Upon cancellation:
• Your access will continue until the end of the current billing period
• You may export your data prior to cancellation
• Your site and data may be deleted after a reasonable retention period
7. Data Ownership & Export
You retain ownership of all data you enter into Village Collector.
You may export your inventory data at any time while your account is active.
Village Collector does not sell or claim ownership of your data.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Village Collector to:
• Upload illegal, harmful, or abusive content
• Attempt unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Disrupt or interfere with service operation
• Use the service for purposes unrelated to collection management
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
9. Intellectual Property
Village Collector, including its software, design, branding, and content, is the intellectual property of Village Collector.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the platform without written permission.
10. Third-Party Trademarks
Village Collector is not affiliated with Department 56®, Lemax®, or any other third-party brands.
All trademarks referenced remain the property of their respective owners.
11. Availability & Modifications
We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Village Collector may:
• Modify features
• Update the platform
• Temporarily suspend access for maintenance
We are not liable for interruptions beyond our reasonable control.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
Village Collector is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We make no warranties regarding:
• Accuracy of user-entered data
• Suitability for insurance or appraisal purposes
• Uninterrupted or error-free service
